Professional QualificationsMember of the Institute of Group Analysis, United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) Registered. Certificate in Education. Accredited Supervisor of therapists. I have been in private practice for over twenty five years and worked as a Principal Psychotherapist in the NHS for eight years. In addition to my primary training at the Institute of Group Analysis, I have both taught and attended a very large number of professional training courses which include currently teaching psychotherapy in the UK and St Petersburg, Russian Republic. During this time I have helped people with all sorts of problems, but I have a special interest in helping accomplished people deal with the emotional stress and burnout that, paradoxically, can come with success. Personal Approach My first aim is to gain a clear and in depth understanding of the problem areas experienced by a client so that the most appropriate help can be offered. Over the years, in the context of the NHS and private practice, I have conducted well over two thousand psychological assessments of people experiencing emotional difficulties and life-problems. Many people find the assessment session itself to be very useful. Towards the end of the assessment session we discuss the most suitable options. |
